Fun Italian Flare

Enjoyed the different setting for this story and a glimpse into Italy and Italian law enforcement.

A really good Lincoln Rhyme novel

Except for the liberal politically correct bias, a very good story. I particularly liked the Hercule and Spiro characters and the way the story unfolded.
The narrator was excellent.
It is the burial hour for Europe.

interesting plot twist

The reader is frustrating and I always forget until I start listening. He reads with a breathlessness for drama but doesn't work for me. Once we were in Italy it was less pronounced and enjoyed his "voices". Maybe I merely get used to it but this is my reaction with each book. Dislike it enough that I'm always tempted to not listen to the book.

Ruined it with Political crap.

Great Story started and lost as almost always in the overwhelming evidence that I can't even put together. That Lincoln is able to knit a cardigan with. Then ruins the whole thing with political crap. If you love Lincoln you will like this one. But most of my friends agree that the stories turns off in a way that leaves you wanting.

Jeff always keeps me guessing in his books I always get excited when a new book comes out. He s a great story teller a this is another must read.
