With the countdown to Christmas underway, interior designer Jackie Frost is surprised to receive an urgent phone call from Santa Claus requesting her help. Once at the North Pole, Jackie gets swept up into Santa's crazy plan to makeover Christmas Central as a surprise for Mrs. Claus.

Several things test Jackie's devotion to the Claus family as the renovations get underway, not the least of which is having to work alongside master craftsman Dean Bradshaw. Dean is handsome, smart, funny, and he has an absolute gift for building things. But what worries Jackie is what he's taking apart, namely the walls she's built up around her heart.

A short, cute, funny tale when Santa becomes a matchmaker, while trying to surprise Mrs. Claus with an anniversaries makeover of their home. Characters are enjoyable and fun to picture.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Carly Robins brightened my day.

I have never read a book that included Santa and his elves as part of the plot. I was very excited to hear this book. I was not disappointed. This book is set at the North Pole with a sweet holiday romance brought together by Santa and the gang. I only wish that this book was longer because there were points were the story felt rushed which was unfortunate because the story is excellent. I can only imagine what the story could have been with more detail and development of characters and situation. This is a great holiday read for anyone preparing for the holiday season. I smiled through the entire book and wanted more when it ended. I am starting another xmas book by this author now. The narrator did a great job, smoothly read the story and most of the time I forgot about her and just saw/heard the characters.

Great xmas romance set at the North Pole

This author continues to write a beautiful story that has Santa and Mrs. Clause finding partners for their family members in Christmas town on the days counting up to Christmas. It is wholesome and so enjoyable. A short fun read that so far I’ve enjoyed the whole series and can’t wait until the next book. Enjoyed on audible and kindle

Short but amazing

What did you love best about The Christmas Makeover?

I loved the whole idea of falling in love at Christmas. Santa, Mrs Clause, and of course the elves were an added bonus!

What other book might you compare The Christmas Makeover to and why?

I am not sure about a book to compare it to but i would compare it to the movie Santa Baby,

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Santa announced the engagement and it left the two flabbergasted.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it was too short to need or want a break

Short but Very Sweet!!

Even though you know, within the first few minutes of listening, exactly where this story is going to go, it is an enjoyable, quick listen. My only criticism of the story is that it may be too quick; you're pretty sure you know what's going to happen, but aren't given a chance to relish the development of the relationship as things proceed so quickly.

Carly Robins provides a smooth, enjoyable listen. I especially love what she has done to distinguish all those elf voices -- that could not have been easy! There were a couple of passages in which I found her breaths distracting; this was the first time I'd listened to a book on my phone, though, so this could have been due to a limitation of the phone's speakers, and I didn't notice it throughout the story.

Highly recommend for a light, short, not too smarmy holiday read. I recall nothing that would have made me blush for my grandma or daughter to hear, so I give it an A family-friendly grade.

I received this copy for free at my own request.

Cute Holiday Morsel
