When Jed asks her out on a special Christmas date, Anna knows the moment has come. But instead of proposing, Jed tells her he’s moving hundreds of miles away, and Anna’s world comes crashing down. Later, Jed’s brother, Dale, tries to comfort her, but she draws away from everyone.

During the ensuing year, Anna struggles to pick up the pieces of her life. When Christmas rolls around again, Anna faces the prospect of spending it alone once more. Unless she truly is seeing something special in the eyes of Dale. But after what Jed did to her, how can she really trust his brother?

I loved this story, how one minute you think you know what the plan
for your life is but God has a better plan. Even though, Anna thought
she would never love again, The bother was truly for her. I give all 5
I bought this and I am glad.

Pass if you’re looking for a “feel good” listen

It was painful to listen to the lack of compassion and understanding that Anna was shown. I was disturbed by how she was treated. Gratefully, the end is redeeming for her.
