The Tournament Continues

As solid as the first book was, this book added more characters and a chosen family as they traveled and continued with the tournament. I knew from other series, that I would not only be entertained but be given a great story with hope intermixed with fantastical drama. I love that kirin creatures are focused on and how Stovall and Tang made their magic work.
I had been listening more slowly, purposefully awaiting book three on audio, but as soon as it became available, I made it my primary audiobook.
There are beautiful scenes described, lots of traveling in a beautiful, fantastical world. This series has become one I will want to read over and over again.
I cannot sing this series praises more if you enjoy an epic story with a grounded team coming together as a chosen family.
