Parenting begins with us, the parents. It always involves earning our children's trust. Whether we are overwhelmed at being parents, planning to be parents, reacting to our parents, or learning to stand with our kids as they now parent, we need to know that there is always a way home, and that god is in the middle of every stage of our family. Find yourself in this story as you ride along with the Clawsons on vacation. Go inside the episode as each part of the story unfolds, and find the freedom and truth that god offers us as we build trust with our kids, and discover insight and hope for our own painful patterns. This book is filled with joy, insight, wisdom, and maybe a fresh way of seeing our families and ourselves. Enjoy the ride.

The Cure is one of those yearly reads, if you have kids/grandkids this book teaches application of those same principles to relating with them. The material makes for a great small group study and leaves everyone with a desire to pick up The Cure to dive deeper.
Decent reading, would have been much better as a play. Someone seriously needs to align the audio "chapter" titles with the book.

The Truefaced team has done it again. While the Cure gives the prescription, this book gives the instructions on living it out in your family.

Hard-hitting, true to life.

John and Stacey might not remember me, I used to go to family camp at Horn Creek in Colorado with my uncle, aunt and cousins many years ago. The first time I heard John speak I thought to myself, wow, he delivers in such a way that a young punk like me can even understand!
Guys, this book lays it all out so perfectly and hits home with every sentence. I now am married with 3 daughters and this book has helped me put myself in their shoes to see what and how they are processing things in their mind! To everyone who was apart of this book, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Holy Spirit is flowing through you all for sure!

Tjis life-changing message is perhaps the finest work yet coming out of Phoenix from my well trusted and much love truefaced friends. Now the challenging part! So very hard to implement and yet I am called to. I long to be a great affirmer and resources like the Cure and parents help more than anything I've come acrossed besides the Bible itself and God's finished work that is continuing to grow me.

This is the best parenting book of all parenting books. We often wonder why so many Christian families loose their kids from the faith in college.
This book answers that. We need to point our kids to their relationship with their personal Lord and Savior. We as parents are to raise them with His grace so He can transform them and us from the inside out!

All Christian Parents should read
