George the Cyclist

DS Cross and his entire team, his father, and the local priest are in full form and getting better. The author paints each character so vividly I can see and hear them. As with the first book, the ending is more than expected. I had to hear this 3 or 4 times as well and have learned something new each time.

An unusual but believable detective!

This detective is evolving as the series progresses but his discernment never falters. The crimes are believable and almost sad in their humanity. The stories are as well written as they are compelling and the reader’s voice was just right.

Great book....

Second in the Series, definitely as good as the first, and the narration is terrific...not to be missed!

Everything you might have liked about the first book, you will also find here. We have some character development to top things off, so definitely a good book to listen to.
