I loved this book. Is very informative and easy to understand. I like that the Med-DASH plan is flexible and adaptable for each individual. The recipes are examples of how to put a meal together, so you have ideas and options to choose from whether you're a vegetarian or not. It was worth my time!

I really found this interesting. My husband is turning 50 and I’m turning 60. Two big birthdays this year. My blood pressure is good but his is being controlled with medication. My problem is menopausal middle. I’m hoping to change both with this book. I am having trouble locating the PDFs though, that’s my only issue.

The DASH diet and Med diet are both plant-based diets low in meat & dairy. Both diets include healthy, whole food carbs and fruit. This author starts out sounding okay, but as you read, she starts recommending cutting out fruit and carbs and eating lots of dairy. She should've written a keto book, because she clearly doesn't understand the DASH or Med diets at all. Don't purchase this. I wish I could return it.
