This is a masterpiece

I'm amazed at how efficiently the author is capable of sculpting the story and tug at my emotions. the story dragged a little TOO long in the first half but the ending was worth it.

I highly recommend this book. The author is amazing and the reader does an outstanding job! I wish more books could be like this. Be sure to listen to the first book in the series first. <3

Blown away

I really enjoyed the first book but it felt it was slightly messy in terms of pacing/ plot progression - this second installment absolutely blew me away though. It was perfectly crafted and completely sucked me in. The narrator’s performance was great too and I loved how distinctive everyone’s voices were. She really humanized the characters which made this morally grey story even more powerful. Can’t wait to go right into the third book!
