Captivating love story from France

I'm balls deep in these stories, perplexed and enraptured as to how Erica comes up with these scenarios. From the tension between Britain and France exemplified in the characters to finding out the "dirty secret" that Bastian and his brother were hiding. Eve's father and her relationship with him was a very relatable story, adding complex expectations that added a very real and palpable feeling anyone with a parent that is overly controlling. A powerful and constantly transient story of love conquering evil all within the world of Chrismuth.
