The universe is not a very nice neighborhood.

The strong races rule the galaxy, doing as they please. The weak are enslaved or driven from their homeworlds or simply exterminated by the ruling powers. The Solar Union's only hope of survival is to master GalTech and improve upon it before the Galactics realize the human race is no longer trapped on a primitive world, at the mercy of any spacefaring race who stumbles across it. But GalTech keeps its secrets close, and time is not on humanity's side.

But there is one hope. On a primitive world, enslaved by a far more advanced race, there is a research lab with the keys to galactic technology, offering the promise of unlocking everything if they can be captured and returned to Sol. And so a highly-trained team is dispatched to steal the tech at all costs, even if it means setting the entire planet ablaze…

The Firelighters is a new standalone novel set between A Learning Experience and Hard Lessons!

The narrator was very monotone all the way through the story. Speaking of which the story was mostly just boring

I get it. The author thinks the world is a mess and every established institution sucks.
Name some me in that position
But I don’t need to hear it 47 times while he’s relating the story

I like the premise of the books
I like the stories
I think the narrator is top-notch

I hope you write more. I just go easy on the morality lessons.

I like the storyline, but I could do without the repetition

The last line is a little to smack of Christian nationalism. But the rest of the story is good

Great!

i like the series but its getting to be the same thing over and over. "the enemy gets a vote" we heard you the first 2,000 times. please if this series continues and i hope it does. get some new catch phrases or dont use catch phrases, and i know this is going to sound crazy but when i was in the military I had no desire to rape the enemies women,or the enemy. ijs
A little more fighting and a little less rape. Its like you wanted to make an erotic novels but haven't had sex. but overall book is decent, boring but decent.

we get it, we get it
