A science fiction thriller set in the near future. Humanity is on the brink of achieving AI singularity as the potential for first contact ith aliens arises.

George Isaacson has dreams of being a global social media influencer, pushing fringe conspiracy theories and government coverups. While not a true believer himself, he knows that plenty of people are. He only needs to hook them.

In the summer of 2023, scientists at NASA discover five objects racing toward a point outside our solar system. Disregarding the official storyline of a naturally occurring event, George spins a tale of extraterrestrials, government coverups, and the end of life as we know it. When the objects start slowing, he realizes the alien conspiracy theories he’s promoting might be true.

China and the United States publicly partner to lead the world into a new era in space while their rivalry for global dominance simmers in the shadows. Friction between the two countries is intense, with each seeking to dominate the technological world and solidify its position as the sole superpower. The new cold war heats up with discoveries of espionage that lead to breakthroughs in quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

When tragedy strikes, George finds that his drive to become famous could have dire consequences for those who follow him. The response to the crisis may be worse than the perceived threat, and he must decide whether to use his newfound fame to bring the world community together, or let it all go and hope everything they know about the threat is wrong.

Wow, this one caught me off guard! Several plot arcs run simultaneously, which all collide at the end. ( No spoilers here! )

A unique take on spirituality, etc. As much character-driven as plot-driven

Adam Riley put forth a very solid performance.

It is an above-average offering and highly recommended.

I was provided my copy for free in exchange for this authentic and non-biased review.

The story had lots of perspectives. It passed over so much time between sections that Characters development was shallow. I think there’s potential in this story line, and it would have made a good series with more detail and Character development. I think the end was abrupt and rushed.
Not my favorite. 6/10

End was not great.

Short chapters, nonstop action. God Protocol had me hooked from the first few pages. Full of detais about ancient aliens, science, archeology, government organizations, AI, conspiracy theories and scaremongering on the web. The plot is cleverly written, events accross time-line are from the viewpoints of well-realized characters.

This was a fun read, I've enjoyed sifi a lot more as an adult and enjoyed listening to a lot of new things in the genre the hardest thing about older science fiction is predicting what future tech will look like is difficult. I loved the setting being modern day and with lots of speculation about AI currently this feels close enough for a could be possible. There are multiple characters so you get the chance to see the bigger picture as people try and sort out what to do if aliens are real and they are coming? Hope you enjoy l was given a code to leave a review but this is the exact sort of book I enjoy! - Snowy

Will AI or Aliens or Humens Themselves be the cause of mass extinction
