Good story, but too much time spent on cult leader’s speeches.

Cult leader’s many speeches got old after a while. Liked the story otherwise. Short stories and first book were better.

Distinct characters, written and performed

Deaver’s characters are unique and have personality, and Griffith’s performance of them are clear and distinct, even through subtle changes, both male and female.

Good Book

I’ve started reading these books after watching season one of Tracker on TV. I like the book a lot and will read all of them.

Painfully prolonged

This book could have been 75% shorter with the same plot. All the speeches by Eli were overkill.

Very good

Scary accurate depiction of malicious charisma. This book really flows. I love this character, solid and unique.
