From New York Times bestselling author Chanda Hahn comes a new supernatural mystery series. A thrilling combination of Nancy Drew and the Vampire Academy.

Seventeen-year-old Everly Hart became a "griever" the day she witnessed a tragic death. Imbued with a second sight, she can now see what others cannot—supernatural creatures called grimms.

Then she receives an invitation from the Grimm Society to attend Gravemark, an exclusive school where grievers are trained to track and reap grimms. Everly thought navigating high school and dating was tough, but now her school assignments can kill her.

As victims pile up, Everly must put her investigative skills to the test and hunt the latest grimm serial killer, proving that not all princes are charming, and not all fairy tales have happy endings.

Can Everly solve the case, or will she be the latest griever to become grimm bait?

Wow—what an incredible experience! This book wasn’t just a great listen; it was a journey that our entire family got lost in together. From the very first chapter, we were all hooked—laughing, gasping, and imagining the world unfolding in front of us.

The narration was fantastic, bringing each character to life in such a vivid way that it felt like we were right there in the story. The plot kept us on the edge of our seats, and the storytelling was so immersive that even the youngest in our family was completely engaged.

What made this even more special was how it created moments of togetherness. Long car rides flew by, and cozy evenings became something we all looked forward to. It sparked so many conversations, theories, and excitement about what happens next.

We absolutely can't wait to dive into the rest of the series! If you're looking for a book that will bring your family together, spark imagination, and leave you eagerly pressing play on the next chapter, this is it!

I am not really into mysteries but I tried this on a wim and it was okay. It's not my favorite book but if you like a good mystery then you will like this one. Kid friendly which is good for me because work and children with a touch of romance thrown it but not enough to make it all you hear about. I took a a star off for personal preference of not because it was bad. Amy McFadden did a good performance too. If you like supernatural creatures and stuff then you will like this. Overall not a bad book.
