I love the story but the narrator is terrible! Her tone, constant mispronunciation of words and stilted reading made this unbearable. I did not finish it and am very sorry that I wasted a credit on it.

I love everything LaVyrle Spencer writes. The problem with this audible book is the narrator mispronounces so many words and is all over the place with her tone and accents. It was definitely distracting. I wouldn’t care if it was a free book, but I paid for this. I expect better quality for books that I purchase. The story itself is excellent.
