The Hollow

This novella occurs 15 years after Ichabod Crane rid Sleepy Hollow of the wraith of a fallen Hessian soldier, the Headless Horseman, which terrorized the village. Now word has spread of the Horseman's return. Ichabod's daughter, Imelda, answers the call to investigate and stop the Horseman at all costs. Armed with her father's sword, fighting prowess, and sharp mind, Imelda uncovers the secrets the Hollow has hidden for so long. New suspicions and old loves complicate her mission, as she finds that all is not as it seems in the little New England town.

So good!!!

My only complaint​ is that I want more! I want to hear about more adventures with Dot and Im... and, of course, Hollie is as fantastic as always.

Fantastic short story lgbt revision of the classic tale, with a bit if Sherlock Homes vibe. Loved listening to this!

An amazing short!

Erik took a familiar folk tale, added in some rich history and backstory, and told a gritty story about love, betrayal, madness, redemption and forgiveness.
Set 15 years after the original reign of the headless horseman, Ichabod Crane's daughter is following in his footsteps, as a hunter of dark evil. But some things aren't as they seem.
I hope that there will be more.

Awesome tell of Icbod Crain's daughter as the Hunter.

The Hunter who has returned to the Hollow wearing her fathers armor. To the land where he had once killed the headless horseman, so then why was it back now? At the door of the girl she had been in love with for 15 years.

Fantastic book

While I have listened and read all of Erik Schubach's work I have to say I really enjoyed this short story and while the story is simple in its progress it is still a great quick read. I will be doing repeat listen every holloween.
