Great Start to the Series!

Really enjoyed all the action and mystery. The relationship has purpose, but is an example of healthy communication. A welcome occurrence that is often rare in books these days. Loved the world building. Everything served an actual purpose and side characters had actual personalities. Ending was great episodic close that left me excited to read the next and see what adventures the characters will embark on next. Pretty satisfying mystery and payoff. And absolutely loved the take on creatures we know well like vampires. Very fun.
