There are quite a few dirty deeds Stony Thorns is ashamed of committing, but prying into peoples’ business for a living isn’t one of them. Working as a paparazzi in Silk Hills allows Stony to feed her love for photography and avoid a traditional nine-to-five. Her profession has also acted as a hindrance to her love life, though that hasn’t swayed her career path. All seems well in Stony’s world until she finds herself in a life-changing predicament that challenges her selfish ways. Unfortunately, his achievements aren’t enough to keep the bullheaded fighter from traveling to the underground regardless of the consequences. Pleasantly surprised

This is my first novel from this author. The narrator help me decide to give it a chance and I'm glad that I did. The story moves quickly but it was good. I didn't want a long drawn out book but I also didn't want to feel like I was missing something. This story delivered. I love how 2 people in anger management found love.

Second listen… it was so worth it

I purchased and listened to this a whole year ago but since the new books were coming I decided to give this one a replay. I’m so glad I did. I love when love is easy in spite of circumstance. These two had every reason not to be together. But love would not let them let stay away. Stony had a complicated situationship that resulted in such a sad outcome but it was almost secondary to the love that she found. He overpowered all of the negativity to love her truly and deeply
