This was a interesting read with little attention to building a plot, but very good just the same.

A quick story by the Queen of mystery

The narration in this is abysmal. The narrator repeatedly refers to the hotel in the title as Grand Metropilan. He reads the whole book in a monotone so that it’s impossible to tell who is speaking what dialogue. When he is saying Poirot’s lines, he uses a flat American English monotone and pronounces the French word “monsieur” mon-shore. The story is not one of ACs winners. Don’t waste your time.
