Loved this audio!

This came to life with this audiobook! I loved the book and was engaged in the story where the narrators drew me in once again! This romantic suspense story drew me in from the very beginning and kept me listening until the very end! Not only were Ryder and Gia a wonderfully flawed, well balanced coupled, the supporting characters are also well written.

I am becoming quite fond of this series. ❤️

Consider a grumpy cowboy who had his heart broken after he had everything he thought he needed for a perfect life, only to have it all taken away from him.

Add to that a sassy DEA Agent who has been doing the job she has always dreamed of.

She has been working diligently for a long time to bring down the Lavoto cartel.

The Last Promise You Made is the kind of book you dive into head first, heart pounding, and butterflies fluttering, and come out feeling completely astounded. This book will kick you right in the feels, but the pain will totally be worth it. Gia & Ryder's story is beyond what I expected, the twist and turns had me sucked in from the very first words. It's one of those stories that just captures your whole soul. Seriously, just pick up this book and read it because it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Emery Erickson & Aaron Shedlock gave us the characters to absolute perfection. Both are remarkable bringing the characters to life. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.

Amazing audio!

The Last Promise You Made is a small town romantic suspense with a grumpy cowboy and feisty undercover that have to work together to protect his daughter he didn’t know he had. LJ Evans has done it again bringing a sweet story that will also have you on the edge of your seat. The tension and chemistry between Gia and Ryder was off the charts and the more time they spent together the more they couldn’t deny it. I loved the way they worked together to protect his daughter. One of the main things I love about this book is the Hatley family and how much love and care they had for one another. I could not put this one down, I loved everything about Gia, Ryder and Addy.

The audiobook is narrated in duet by Emery Erickson and Aaron Shedlock. They both did a wonderful job bringing Gia, Ryder and Addy to life. Emery is new to me and she did amazing showcasing Gia’s strength and vulnerabilities. She did great at portraying Addy’s shy and timid personality after all she had been through. Aaron nails the protective and caring cowboy personality of Ryder. I originally read this book and loved it the audio performances from Emery and Aaron brought another element to this emotional romantic suspense. Thank you LJ for an audio copy!

The duet narration is fabulous!

I read this book when it first came out and I loved it. Now that I've listened to the audio book, I love it even more! The duet narration by Aaron Shedlock and Emery Erickson added so much more depth and color to the story. Just hearing Ryder Hatley say "Darlin" made my whole day. Highly recommend!!
