Great plot twists and addictive- wonderful narrator

Another great psychological thriller with lots of plot twists! I've been binge-listening to this author's novels over the past month, and I thought all of them were very good—entertaining, addictive, and full of unexpected turns. When I binge-read an author's works, the similarities in character development and language can become obvious, but it doesn't bother me when I notice it occasionally with this author. It feels more like her signature style rather than repetitiveness.

I feel like I got to “know” the other women better in this story than I had expected I would! The author created distinct portraits of the other women with remarkable efficiency—no wasted language, just strong characterization.

A riveting and devious listen

Well, spin me around, show me the meaning of true love over time, then shock me with that jaw-dropping ending! I truly enjoyed “The Lies He Told” by Valerie Keogh and expertly narrated by Clare Corbett. As a fan of both Keogh and Corbett, I was thrilled to discover this gripping thriller. Keogh’s brilliant storytelling is paired perfectly with Corbett's captivating narration, reminiscent of her work with Rose Robinson. Corbett's presentation brings the characters to life, making it impossible not to become invested in their stories. What sets this thriller apart is its thought-provoking exploration of the consequences of lying and the devastating impact it can have on relationships. The story revolves around four women – Misty, Gwen, Babs and Dee – each with their own tangled web of deceit and heartbreak, all linked to one cheating man. As their lives intersect, the consequences are nothing short of deadly. With its twists and turns, ”The Lies He Told” is a compelling listen that kept me enthralled throughout. Pay close attention, lest you overlook a vital detail. For fans of psychological thrillers, this one is a must-have. Epic, indeed! Worth a cherished credit. the story line was so all over the place. it made no sense. and gratuitous talk about see were not relevant or needed it was trying to be something it's not.
I wish I never spent a credit on this book
