The second installment in the beloved and New York Times bestselling series from Richard Osman, now streaming on Netflix

“It’s taken a mere two books for Richard Osman to vault into the upper leagues of crime writers. . . The Man Who Died Twice. . . dives right into joyous fun."
—The New York Times Book Review

Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim—the Thursday Murder Club—are still riding high off their recent real-life murder case and are looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet at Cooper’s Chase, their posh retirement village.

But they are out of luck.

An unexpected visitor—an old pal of Elizabeth’s (or perhaps more than just a pal?)—arrives, desperate for her help. He has been accused of stealing diamonds worth millions from the wrong men and he’s seriously on the lam.

Then, as night follows day, the first body is found. But not the last. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim are up against a ruthless murderer who wouldn’t bat an eyelid at knocking off four septuagenarians. Can our four friends catch the killer before the killer catches them? And if they find the diamonds, too? Well, wouldn’t that be a bonus? You should never put anything beyond the Thursday Murder Club.

Richard Osman is back with everyone’s favorite mystery-solving quartet, and the second installment of the Thursday Murder Club series is just as clever and warm as the first—an unputdownable, laugh-out-loud pleasure of a read.

Book number 2 was a continuation of all the goodness book number 1 started. The mystery unfolded surprise after surprise, and laughter unexpected. Richard Osman just knows how to connect readers to the characters and Leslie Manville gives them each a true voice. Another recommendation for *Must Listen* as well as must read. (It was so good I bought the book, too!)

The good times keep going with book number 2!

Love the Thursday murder club! The characters are so well thought out, you love each one for their own quirks. I thought I knew the killer but I was wrong! Love the narration, story, everything! Can’t wait for another!

The Thursday Murder Club is the club you wish you could join. These are the books you didn’t know you needed to read. Makes me proud to be old!

Delightful, engaging with such wry, dry wit.

Richard Osman has done it again! A great caper with the characters I fell in love with in his first book. Lesley Manville brings each one expertly to life, with the perfect touch with Osman’s deft prose, striking the balance between playful and tender. Hope there are many more adventures with the Thursday Murder Club to come!

Another perfect delight!

in this book the second of the stories that follow the Thursday Murder Club AKA Japanese Opera enthusiasts, all my emotions and all of my thoughts of intrigued have been sparked again. not only was I captivated and figuring out the who's who of new characters but also I was enraptured by the ones who came back from the first capers. by the end not only did I feel like I was part of their Club but I felt like I was there right in the middle of the intrigue, Mayhem, escapades, romances and yes by the end I cried a little but not from sadness.

Richard Is man has done it again.
