Dear audio book industry. Do not do it. Do not use AI narration. It will never replace talented human narrators. I sampled and I do not like it. I won’t be buying anymore audio books with AI narration.

The AI is extremely annoying. Mispronouncing words and no inflection. The story was repetitive tired of typing

The lack of a good reading

Kudos to the author for a very original idea, although, it bothers me when characters make insanely boneheaded choices to move the story along and that happened a few times.

Virtual readers are probably where audiobooks are headed, we are definitely NOT yet there. Too many words pronounced incorrectly, so many, many incorrect tones and inflections.

Fun effort

The Virtual Voice this book did a better job at the emotions but the repetitive mispronouncing words was distracting. These are basic things and editor should have caught. It wasn't just one or two words said wrong it was a lot of them. The story itself is a pretty interesting concept and I would love to hear it told with a seasoned narrator.

The virtual AI reader is terrible.
Get a real human to narrate. It brings your books to life.
But I pushed through it like kid trying to finish his vegetables.
