Lords and Ladies can make strange bedfellows....

The viscount's house party promises to be one of the season's highlights, and Lord and Lady Kilgorn are delighted to attend. If only the long-estranged couple had realized they were both invited - and assigned to the same bed chamber....

Lady Kilgorn did not travel miles from her comfortable home to share a too-small room with the handsome Scottish scoundrel she'd married far too young - and far too eagerly! And the last thing Lord Kilgorn needs is to be teased by the sight of his ever more beautiful wife! But as the weekend progresses, the pair will discover there are some fires even time cannot put out....

Contains mature themes.

All of the behavior of the man (husband) who repeatedly shamed, hurt, cheated, publcly courted soneone else "inadvertently", & continually disrespected her (his wife) verbally is swept away with carelessness. Meanwhile the victimized brokenhearted wife who mourned a lost child & remained faithful for 10 yrs, who was ruthlessly & carelessly & selfishly bruised also has to experience it again at a house party at the hand of manipulative cast members & a still an unrepentant self-focused ass of a husband. She bears the guilt and lectures of outsiders and the brunt of humiliation, shame, & she has to go make things right? And suddenly he gets to bed her & everything's all right?! Hell no. Terribly stupid story, unromantic, & none of the characters is worth this exploration. I'm all for forgiveness & repairing of the relationship, but this story sure did not sell that. Not at all. NONE of the characters were sympathetic at all.
