When the enemy wears a familiar face, trust becomes the deadliest gamble of all.

Long Island, 1775. When Phoebe Tredwell stumbles upon a conspiracy stretching from the shores of her occupied homeland to the heart of General Washington's army, her quiet life as a merchant's daughter shatters. The cryptic message she intercepts could turn the tide of the Revolution—or cost her everything she loves.

Thrust into a shadowy world of Loyalist spies, British agents, and a mysterious counterfeit ring, Phoebe must rely on her wit, charm, and courage to navigate a treacherous labyrinth where one wrong step means the noose. As she races to prevent a devastating plot, she discovers that the greatest challenges—and the most dangerous secrets—may lie within her own heart.

The Patriot's Daughter is Book One of the Daughters of Liberty series, illuminating the extraordinary sacrifices and triumphs of the unsung heroines who helped give birth to a new nation.

Perfect for readers who love: Turn: Washington's Spies, Outlander, and novels by Stephanie Dray, Kate Quinn, and Kristin Hannah.

I have just begun this series and am eager to see what Ms. Lind does with her strong female character, Phoebe. This era is one of my favorites, and her historical research is beyond compare. I added the audio to this book to enhance the enjoyment, and am happy with my decision. I am most eager to see where the story takes us and what our outcome will be with the Daughters of Liberty.

Just beginning a great series

The poor narration overshadowed any positive aspects of this book. I was looking forward to delving into the story, it’s my favorite genre, but I found it difficult to finish.

Poor,poor,poor narration.

I hate the computer generated narration. The book would have been a good listen if not for that.

I hated the narration!!!
