This book, as all of my books do, follows from a lifetime of all too real experiences. The characters are based on people I have actually known. It is meant to be humorous and to poke fun at two main obsessions that people have: the pursuit of love and the pursuit of money.

The main characters consistently confuse the two, or use one to obtain the other. Love captures our attention like a casino slot machine. We never know when the cherries will appear, if they’ll come in two’s or three’s, and if they’ll ever come back. The pursuit of money becomes a charade in which we are told that “all is fair”. If we stumble in its pursuit, it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Love and money. Take all you can get, and never get caught. I hope you enjoy this book.

Couldn't Turn It Off !!

Wow... what a crazy, funny, interesting story! I've not heard anything quite like this before..but I loved it. Not for the faint at heart... fast paced with lots of surprises. The narrator takes the words off the paper and weaves them into a dramatic, and entertaining living thing. I'll look for others by the Author, and especially by Kat Bohn, the narrator.

The Characters in this book are Outrageous!

From the opening paragraph I knew this book wasn't going to be like any other. I was happily right! Dramatic, tragic, and hilarious. I know these people! These are a cast of characters like no other. Kat Bohn takes narration to a new level. She is fantastic. The book was a joy to listen to, I couldn't wait to go back to it each time to see what would happen next.

Enjoyed it!

Loved it. It really had me going wanting to hear more about the story. Enjoyed the narrator using different voices. was able to make me picture in my head of what was going on in the story. I was interested in continue listing to finish the story. Will definitely recommend.
