The pronunciation of Hebrew words is painfully awful

The Hebrew pronunciation is inconsistent, word and names alike. Sometimes it’s passable but mostly not even that. Good story though

I'm stingy with five star reviews but this deserves it. Fantastic historical fiction. Narrator was flawless.

Very interesting history lessons.

There is a lot of very graphic physical and sexual details. Just be aware of that. But the story is very good. I enjoyed reading it.

dialog and description

liked the challenges faced by Rob but the strong desire to become a physician. also enjoyed the rich historical aspects especially the hardships of being a Jew
