a never-ending roller coaster of yearning, tension, double-crosses, and a shocking twist at the end. Cosgrove has shown her writing chops eith this one!!

Beth and Aiden’s story

The narrators did a great job, but I just wish it was a duet audiobook. The story was good, and was surprised at the reveal of the Lords of Tides. Always makes me happy when I didn’t see something coming.

Fantastic!

This series is so good. The characters are well developed and perfectly balanced. Beth's backstory is so well laid out. The foreshadowing is just right, not too much given away. Just enough to make your senses tingle. The twists kept me guessing the whole time. And I have a strong feeling that book 4 will be Willow & Heathers story. The stories are very original. In the first book, I tried to say "oh this will be like xyz or abc...but nope. It's a unique, fully immersive world with unique magic and unique characters. I felt emotionally invested in the outcomes. And now I need to go look up this author and see what else she's written. And see when book 4 comes out! I'm hoping for a willow redemption arc 🥰
