Excellent Narrative

Loved listening to this wonderful classic. So profound and completely personal about a soldier’s
thoughts during battle.

Captivating

You can almost feel the anxiety and emotion and smell the gunpowder. Wonderfully descriptive and insightful.

Classic Story, Great Reader

This is one of those situations when the audio book is better than the printed version. There were a couple of occasions near the beginning where the reader whispered too lowly for a female voice, but the rest of the book was very good.
