A fallen tyrant. Five towers restored. Yet the battle between Shadow and Light has only yet begun.

With Cormac out of the way, Chaski and her army of vessels are working harder than ever to restore the peace their previous master had squandered away. Ferendell's council plots day and night, striving to create stability in a crumbling world.

Given a brief window, I will take my vessels back to Pine Mountain, back to the ranch house we left in Bern. With so much on the line, I can only hope Grandmaster Adan has done his best in preparing my apprentice Pim.

Feasts and festivals will abound, and the girls can finally let down their hair to relax. If it were up to me, I would give them a lifetime of such peace. Fate remains impatient, though, and the storm sweeping across Acalia must be stopped.

Old alliances and new friendships will be tested as we work to quell an unexpected problem. Then all will join hands and march on the Shadow Tower, the onyx pillar to the north that so many fear.

Towers above, lend us your light, for never before have we been so sorely tested.

Includes themes of Isekai, Gamelit, cultivation, magic, and harem relationships.

I thought the audio version of this book would never get here, but it was well worth the wait. Rin’s adventures with the seven towers continue in this book. The book introduces new characters, some new twists, and advances the story towards the culmination of Rin’s quest. I look forward to the next volume in the series. Bring on the Spirit Tower.

A long time incoming but well worth it

Great book as always. There’s one thing about the author though that makes me laugh. He is obviously on a power trip with women. Anytime he’s having any kind of sex. He always has to be dominating. For example when one of his vessels keeps telling him that she wants him inside, he has to turn around and say something like do you want or do you NEED me??? It’s a little comments like that Tell me in real life he probably doesn’t even get any lol.

As always, another great book

I recently began reading book 6, and up until now, all the previous books have been fantastic. However, the author introduced an interesting twist by throwing the protagonist, a man from another world, into a chaotic situation where he must level up, cultivate, and save an entire world. Along his journey, he becomes the target of a deranged cultivator who, instead of resolving matters honorably, chooses to send thugs and assassins after him.

After surviving numerous challenges, including a confrontation with a fallen god, the protagonist now faces an unexpected intrusion. The father of one of his romantic partners barges into his room and accidentally sees another of his women naked. In a misguided display of anger, the father threatens the protagonist, comparing him to a previous offender who harmed his daughter. This addition of "SIMP"-like behavior to an otherwise engaging story is perplexing. Despite being acknowledged as the strongest cultivator, if not the most powerful being in their world, the protagonist inexplicably yields to the aggressive father's judgment without fully comprehending the situation. The inclusion of this plot point appears illogical and lacks coherence.

Why? Why back down to a Father threatening your life?

I was not expecting this to be so good. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book.
