Thankfully, the spirit who reincarnated me modified my core with a rune of power. Now, each time I ascend to a higher level, I can add a new rune, enhancing my strength. But this gift was given with a condition; if I don’t climb and conquer the Towers of Acalia, this new world will fall into ruin. Plenty of obstacles stand in my way: raging spirit beasts, tower summoned monsters, rival cultivators. But by bonding myself to gorgeous women warriors, I can ascend and grow strong enough to take on the seven towers. Gods help anyone who stands in my way.

My fight with the Grimoire Killer showed me just how lacking my skills are compared to the old monsters of this world. Even with the sheer power of a warlock, it took everything I had to make it out alive, to get back to Jasmine. What we found at the border proves that conflict is unavoidable. A terrible, bloody war is on the horizon, and our enemies are fierce. If I'm to fight the Wyld and the Chaos Mages, I'll need to master my warlock abilities. To that end, we're headed to Eylsarin, the country of the elves, to seek an audience with Syl's mother, Queen Rosewynn.
