From number-one New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely comes a second-chance romance that'll make your heart feel good! Performed by Zachary Webber and Emma Wilder!

I have a big plan for my career and it most certainly doesn’t involve my ex. AKA my first love.

It definitely doesn’t entail working with him every day on a brand-new project for my jewelry line.

And it absolutely doesn’t include falling for the man all over again.

But the trouble is, he’s kind, charming, and so damn smart. Not to mention easy on the eyes. And thoughtful, too.

Also, he wants to get to know me again. To take me out for coffee, to chat on the phone, to go to museums.

It’s a dizzying, delicious courtship, but I don’t know if my heart can handle this from the man who broke it to pieces once upon a time....

Or am I willing to risk everything for a second chance at first love?

Author’s Note: The Second Chance Plan was previously titled Caught Up in Us (which is no longer available). The Second Chance Plan is a fresh new take on that second chance romance, with a reimagined plot and vastly expanded characterizations. This new version with brand-new narration contains more than 65% new material. I hope you enjoy this new edition of my first romance novel!

I love second chance romance! This book is heartwarming, sweet, sexy and funny all in one.
I read the original version of this book and have to say the re-imagined version was much smoother and was easy to get lost in. Kat & Bryan had chemistry and from the very beginning you could feel their connection even all these years later. I love the past and present scenes so you get to know them then and now also. The ending was a perfect HEA <3 Really enjoyed this one!

Narration was perfect because Zachary Webber & Emma Wilder are great at what they do!

This was a thoroughly enjoyable story, with old heartache battling with a torch that was never extinguished. The heroine’s personal growth was a delightful journey, navigating school, life lessons, and the challenges of being in love. The love scene contained just enough sauciness with an appropriate amount of sweetness.

I did not read the original version, but revision was well-done!

Sweet romance

Very good performance. The story was a little dated but still very good. I enjoy all of her books but I really enjoy her most recent book story lines and audible performances.

Very good book and performance

I don't normally like 2nd chance romances, but took a chance on this one. It was great. Not too much focus on the past while giving you the backstory and keeping your interest in the present day. Sometimes the regular time jumps between POVs can be distracting or confusing, but in this story it all worked to build to the climax.

Really enjoyed it. Hope others will, too!

Worth it

I enjoyed the development of the storyline, but Emma Wilder was the wrong choice for the female narrator, her voice is way too breathy- and never have her do a love scene - she missed the mark repeatedly.

Zachary Webber was great, but had limited text; he could have been allotted much more reading for my enjoyment.

There were a few times when Webber jumped in unexpectedly as Brian’s voice, when most of the time, Emma Wilder did an unpleasant delivery of the male voice. I’d prefer one or the other deliveries throughout.

The descriptions of the various locales were fabulous; they put you in Mystic, NYC, and Paris.

Good Storyline, Narration a Bust
