Koontz manages a different tale of horror with panache

Koontz will never leave his horror or macabre roots. This tale is one of terror if you allow yourself to realize its basis is in reality. The horror he illustrates is one not far removed from our doorsteps. He takes it to the next level with a divinely driven heroine couples her with a protagonist and they play superbly off each other. It is a tale of horror of power mad men, frankensteinian doctors, a deep state government that is governing for a New World Order. This orwellian story out does Orwell!!! Truly a great listen or a good read. Thanks Dean.

Dark and entertaining. A little different than some of his other books but keeps you hooked and on the edge of your seat.

I really enjoyed the new Koontz. I thought the narrator did a great job! I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

interesting but not enough to get me to the next

semi interesting storyline but not enough to get your hooks into. Really poor performance, as every character sounded the same.
