The story alone stands as a testament to Wheeler's talent, but the surprise is in the convergence of multiple story lines. If you haven't read Wheeler's other series yet, start now.

I've fallen completely for Trynne and Fallon, even though my heart is also breaking for all that they experience. Wheeler continues to blow me away with his ability to draw deep emotional reactions from readers, while also portraying his characters as smart, savvy, emotionally intelligent heroines and heroes.

I cannot WAIT to find out what happens in the final installment of the Kingfountain series.

a marriage for trend?

this book had everything you need in a good book - romance, war, drama. f really enjoyed it. The narrative was very good - voices for each character and proper inflection of the narrative sections.

What a wild ride! This story has a lot of things to be excited about! Underseige, court intrigue, court rivalry, integrity, strength of will & oaths, unrequited love, and death. Trynne and the court of Ceredigion find themselves defending against a supposide tyrant from a far away kingdom. But the Blue Knight and gang have a few tricks up their sleves. An exciting read indeed! What a wild ride! This story has a lot of things to be excited about! Awesome Author + Amazing Narrator = Audible Gold

I am a huge fan of Jeff Wheeler's Kingfountain series. This is book 5 of 6 (coming out shortly). Arthurian Fantasy at it's best. The story of Owen Kiskadden never gets old. The way the characters grow, the anchor of a truly special magic system and an amazing story give the listener high expectations for the listening experience. I have not been disappointed. Kate Rudd takes Owen from boy to man without effort... in fact all the characters in the book have such different and interesting voices that the listener is able to forget they are listening to one narrator. I love the audio experience, especially when I'm able to lose myself In the story. As mentioned, this book has a very interesting story line, which stays true to the series, and many surprises.
