The haunts of childhood memories do not come at opportune times. Amanda Gray, a poised and sensitive woman, faces the demons of her past in a continuous panorama of emotional angst. She has attempted to construct a life built on a chaotic foundation. Now, as she grapples with her mother's declining cognition and increasing demands, Amanda must face the fiends of her own past. The price she pays is dear, as she must reconcile her torment with the love for the woman who is at the core of a wrenching past.

This is the most emotional book I've read this year so far and I must say, it's extremely thought provoking as well. I don't want to give away any spoilers but just have your tissues ready. I'm sharing this book with my own Mom & Aunts.
The author picked the perfect voice actress for this story.

M. Carling's The Singing Sands is a beautiful, yet often, heartbreaking, story about the delicate relationship between mother and daughter. Told from the daughter's perspective, the story gives real insight into how relationships change as we, and our parents, age.

A beautiful book about love and forgiveness.

To be honest, guys this story brutally laid bare my soul and gently healed it at the same time. It's an emotional story between mother & daughter. Author beautifully told the story and I thoroughly enjoyed each & every scene. I have no hesitation to say this book was one of my best purchases I've ever made. The narrator does an excellent job and I would listen to her again and again!

Brtually honest & moving story!
