As an otherworldly signal approaches Earth, humanity stands on the brink of transformation.

In this stunning continuation of The Space Within, renowned psychiatrist Dr. Madeline Wyle (Academy Award winner Jessica Chastain) confronts a mysterious man known as Resident 9 (Mandy Patinkin), who possesses impossible knowledge of her past. As her investigation into alien abductions expands and inexplicable DNA alterations intensify among those taken, a former NASA scientist (Michael Shannon) emerges with evidence of an alien artifact, further suggesting humanity's next chapter may be unfolding. At the same time, John Lewin (Bobby Cannavale) fights desperately to protect his supernaturally gifted daughter, Sophie, whose extraordinary abilities may hold the key to humanity's future.

Now branded threats to national security, Maddie and her transformed patients race toward a remote location. With government forces closing in and time running out, every person must choose between the world they know and what lies beyond. In this high-stakes, character-driven, sci-fi thriller, one woman’s quest to unravel her past and seek the truth will impact the fate of the world.

I thought the overall story was intriguing and made one consider possibilities that we are not alone.

Excellent voice actors!

Beautifully voice-casted, unpredictable and boldly hopeful story about earth connecting to the many benevolent star nations who are our ancestors and allies. A positive and realistic depiction of what would be required to truly open our minds and hearts to the enormous potential for great benefit to humankind by meeting and cooperating with our starborne ancestors at this pivotal time on earth. Likable and relatable, multi dimensional “real” characters (not caricatures!), well-written dialogue, unpredictable turns in the storyline, and overall, a compelling and alternative look at the “extra terrestrial “conversation that often is steeped in negativity and fear, when it needn’t be.

Entertaining/ relevant theme for current process of earths transformation,

This is one of the best series I've read so far. The story is so good. One of those books you just can't stop listening to.

I appreciate listening to the other podcast first, this was a great follow up. It kept me engaged and I finished it quite a bit sooner than I thought I would. I thought the narrator did an excellent job and I really appreciated the topic and wanting to make the world a better place. If only we can listen a little bit better.

Well written and performed book. I usually don’t go for sci fi type books so glad I took the chance
