Excellent urban mystery

Well written; solid characters & believable dialogue. It also doesn’t include porn (which most urban fantasy books do these days)!

Totally consuming, Unique and Exceptional

I read this before and loved it but listening to it was totally consuming. This is an extraordinary story. It was performed flawlessly. I enjoyed the whole series and am looking forward to future audio books from this author in this series and the Shadow Enforcer series.

Powerful

In the last few years, NM Thorn has become one of my go-to authors. Every time she releases a new book, it’s in my pocket a few hours later. Another NM Thorn devotee recently mentioned that she’s started releasing audiobooks and suggested I give them a try. She promised I wouldn’t regret it—and she was right. With a long car trip ahead, I decided, “Why not?” and downloaded the first book in The Chronicles of Storm based on my friend’s recommendation. It turned out to be a great suggestion, and I’ll be downloading the second book later today.

NM Thorn’s crisp writing, combined with the vocal talent of Steven Barnett, brought the story to life in a whole new way. It made Declan and Troy’s reunion even more emotional and the battle scenes more vivid. My favorite moment was the climactic scene when Declan fully embraces who he is. The pure artistry took my breath away—and not just because Declan is a child of air! 😄
