Belladonna doesn’t know if a person can die from guilt, but she’s giving it her best shot. All her life, she’s done what she needed to in order to survive, but in recent years, the cost only seems to skyrocket…until someone innocent gets hurt. That’s why she made her deal with the demon. To right the wrong she committed.

But when she’s auctioned off to Rusalka, a powerful and devious succubus, it’s nothing like she expected. She’s…taken care of. And if she’s put to work and expected to fulfill every part of her bargain, Belladonna is only too happy to let someone else shoulder the responsibility and make decisions for her.

Too bad Rusalka isn’t in the market for a servant. She wants a full partner. If Belladonna can’t release her guilt and step into that role… Things may be over even before they begin.

This whole series has been such a delicious treat, but the 4th installment in all its queer joy and healing vibes and immaculate spice. *chef’s kiss*

Summary bit
Book 4 in the series is about the succubus breed of demons. The demon making the deal this time is a female-ish. She has been with humans in dreams but first time in human. The main human female is an emotionally physically abused all her life and feels guilt for all she does. They both have a lot of landmines to get by. But the human learns her body desires are nothing to be shamed for.

Tags: female on female romance with much steam. More than one lover. Transgender beings or somewhat like that.

My review
This was another good storyline and I loved the twist in the play on characters. The main human female was a beaten down gal with the support of others came out of her shell. The main demon female was also a great character. She was over worked and kind. The relationship dynamic was uplifting.
This story was sweet all together. But also steamy as hell. The woman on woman with the added gender switch was odd but creative. Makes sense if you think about the purpose of the type of demon she is.

My only negative point. Book was to short and I was hoping to getting a flash forward to the happy ever after bit. 7 years later.

Narrative review.
Both was really great. I loved the new narrator this book. She played well with the personality of the characters. Made a great team.

Would I recommend this book?
Yes, keep on this series. If you’re into this type of romance then plan on spending your money to finish the series off.
But if your one of those types who are not into women on women love. Transgender sort of. She can change her sex so that’s the closest name I can find. But if that weirds you out then you may wanna skip this book. There’s a lot of steam in this so not something that can be skipped past. Literally sex demons so got a lot happening.

What a twist in the series

It took everything in me to not DNF this book. It’s a short book and still took me almost a week to finish at 1.5 speed. It was not good at all.

I just couldn’t
