Pronunciation

Surprised the reader pronounced valet, more than once as she did. She pronounced the “t” and I thought it was silent and the e and t sounded as an “A”.

Great Book

I enjoyed the story very much but I did not enjoy the narrator. Her mispronunciations of multiple words throughout was a little shocking but her attempts to change her voice for the different characters was just plain bad. The breathiness in which she narrated was annoying and as a speech therapist I couldn’t help but think of the damage she will cause to her vocal chords if she continues narrating that way. I would recommend maybe reading the book instead of listening.

Listening to this was a fun way to spend the day.
Perfect good feelings and happily ever after of family despite hidden family secrets coming to life.

The best book I've ever read!

I absolutely loved this book! I want to go to the Outer Banks and stay at The Beachcomber & spend time with all the characters! This book was so incredible! It was amazing! I can't wait to read the rest of Ms. Jenny's work! 1000/10!

Anything by Jenny Hale is great reading.

Narration, story and writing were all great, along with pleasant theme and realistic characters who resolvled issues sensibly.
