Heath Shieldmire defeated a Demon Knight and survived fifty Black Forest Events. He thought that would be enough to secure Hardhome's safety. He was wrong.

Now necromancers raise armies at his borders. Orc raiders, empowered by forbidden relics, test his defenses. And something darker stirs in the wasteland, eager to claim the void left by the fallen Demon Knight.

With his town's resources dwindling and enemies at every border, Heath must face his greatest challenge yet. But being "talentless" has never stopped him before, and he's not about to let it stop him now.

Will Heath's city management skills be enough to stand against the rising darkness? Or will the wasteland finally claim everything he's built?

Rated G, this story is perfect for fans who love strategic defenses, resource management, and a protagonist who proves that being "talentless" doesn't mean being powerless.

Return to Hardhome for the next evolution of a true Lord.

This is a series you need to read. This is something to curl up next to a fire on a night. Will you just want to relax or if you have to go on a long trip?
It's something it's not heavy on the litrpg and it's done an appropriate way, so it doesn't block the whole thing with stat and allows you to really get into the town building. Now there is some relationship stuff here, but again, it's light and it adds to the story. This is something that you definitely want for your library
