A marriage is between two people.

And their millions of followers.

'Gripping and razor-sharp, this is twisted tradwife lit at its most addictive' Heat

Read by Lauryn Allman, narrator of Freida McFadden’s The Housemaid, The Housemaid’s Secret and The Housemaid is Watching.

Madison March is the perfect wife, with the perfect family and the perfect life.

She spends her days baking sourdough and picking vegetables from the garden while watching her children play in the fields surrounding her Montana homestead.

Dinner is always on the table for her husband, and they end their days sitting on the porch, watching the sun go down.

It’s a life anyone would dream of.

And it’s all a lie.

“Perfect for anyone who loves their thrillers to be twisty, mysterious and forever several steps ahead. I had to pick my jaw off the floor quite a few times” Katy Brent, author of How to Kill Men and Get Away With It

“Will keep you turning the pages well into the night” Catherine Cooper

“Deliciously twisty and diabolically plotted… So addictive” Laurie Elizabeth Flynn

“Compelling… with twists that will give you whiplash” Diane Jeffrey

“An original, compulsive, exquisitely plotted thriller brimming with tension and suspense from the first to last page. The addictive plotline sucked me in from the get-go and had me racing through the pages until the nail-biting finale. An easy five stars and more!” A.A. Chaudhuri

Oh my gosh!🤦🏻‍♀️ Do NOT waste a credit on this rubbish!!! If you’re going to write a book about our ranching way of life in Montana, at least do some research! I started keeping a running total of all of the wrong “information” about ranch life, but it got to be too long. A few examples are that, unless you are a complete idiot, you do not shoot a gun in the air to get a cow to finish walking across the road so you can keep driving … was there no horn on that pickup? Bullets that go up, must come down. Their breeding season was not in the correct time of year and they talk about A.I.ing 100 head of cows but brag about having over 400 head of cows and claim they are the biggest ranch in Montana?!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Wow, real great ranch management there - it does not work that way and in NO way is a 400 head herd even close to the biggest ranch in the Big Sky state. We Montanan’s may have a bit of an accent of our own, but we do NOT have a southern drawl. All the women also do not wear dresses on a daily basis, especially on a true working ranch. Michael didn’t even get out of the house until well after 7 am to start taking care of his animals - yeah, no … not realistic. Also, it made me laugh out loud that when they started getting some snow, all of the animals were locked in barns for the rest of the winter. So many ways and reasons I could pick that to shreds! Unless it is a calf killing blizzard your cattle herd and horses stay in the pasture with available shelter to get out of the wind or a calving shed during calving … which they wouldn’t have had to worry about calving since they weren’t going to be calving until June or July judging from when they talked about their A.I.ing “program.” Saying that, we feed them all more in the winter to sustain them for colder weather and absolutely check on everything more than once a day to make sure cattle and horse herds are healthy.
I can’t even go on with the examples of how off this book was about a ranching lifestyle. I was so tempted to quit it and get my credit back, but like I said, it should be advertised as a comedy for readers, so I finished it to hear what other ridiculous misconceptions were being spewed … which were MANY! This writer is clearly a liberal with so many liberal and democratic comments throughout the book. Hey, each to their own but this author was trying to make out that republicans and conservatives in Montana and Wyoming are stupid, slack jawed idiots who repress their women and beat their children. The author came out looking uneducated with her less than poor research on a limitless number of subjects. I will absolutely not be listening to any more of her books, but you all will have to decide for yourselves whether or not you want to waste a credit on this crap unless you’re looking for some laughs!

Should be advertised as a comedy!

I felt the book was predictable and took too long to get to the point.

Mediocre Best
