WOW

I had read Mike Evans Orphans series and love it and someone recommended this book. Oh my goodness it is awesome my daughter and I listened together and were on the edge of our seats. From the writing to the narration we were pleased and kept on edge like you pray a story of this type to do. Bravo

This is a great thriller full of imagery that makes it feel real! So spooky and definitely a surprise ending!

Audio book version of a b horror film

The story itself is a little interesting, but not an attention grabber or holder- it feels too much like a graphic teen horror. There isn’t a lot of creativity in the characters or plot, but some amount of creativity in the gore. There was something about the performance which grated on me during listening, i think it was primarily the reading of female voices, which gave me the sense of sandpaper being scraped on a chalk board.

Never go camping again.

The stranger will definitely keep me from camping again. This must be read in the daytime. Talk about a slasher film in book form. Good going Mike.

Gasping with heart pounding

It started out slow and steady and had me turning my head to the side I mean you could actually feel like you were part of the story. So much to offer it had my throat tight and my heart pounding from sheer excitement. narration was great there was nothing I didn't like here awesome book.
