I hate vampires. Well, just one in particular. But I do kinda love how his eyes follow me whenever he’s around… Sigh.

Step One: Find a hot vampire. Check.

Step Two: Get the hot vamp to drink from me. Check.

Step Three: Try to forget his stupid face. Ugh. This one’s impossible to check. F my life. Sigh.

Anton is beyond frustrating. He was so sweet when we first met, and I’d thought we had a real connection. But then he had to ruin everything with his big mouth and jerky face. Ugh.

I can’t get him out of my head. Even when I’m beyond angry at him, I still feel a pull to be near him. A pull I can’t seem to ignore.

And when my entire world gets turned upside-down, I can’t help but reach for the ancient vampire and hope that together, we can conquer anything that’s thrown at us… anything that’s coming for us.

The Vampire’s Delicious Fae is Book 2 of the MM urban fantasy series, Brinnswick: Tales from Gauhala. It follows a new couple in each book with a guaranteed HEA. It takes place in the Brinnswick world in the far away country of Gauhala and brings a whole new cast of characters, so you don’t need to listen the other series first. But don't worry, there will absolutely be some cameos along the way.

Story was great but the timber of narrator was such that it matched the car engine & I couldn’t listen while driving. Very quiet also compared to other books. Besides that, narrator was good.

They are both the sweetest, kindest, most loving guys around, they just seem totally different. And sure Keryth, young (compared to vampire’s) has been struggling to do whatever is necessary to take care of his siblings, just now finding his footing, while Anton has been alive for thousands of years and is wealthy and comfortable, he knows what it is to love children too, and feel loss.

They have a lot in common, and together they build an incredible family. And their bond is necessary to help them combat the latest threat. An evil clan of Vampire hunters and traffickers.

It’s a sweet story, between the action and suspense of the case at hand.

I really enjoy the series and world Michele has created. It’s a diverse cast, but they are all incredibly moral and kind. The series is also really great as an audiobook. I find it helps really bring a paranormal world alive for me, and Zachary Zaba is a solid and enjoyable narrator.

Ps. I adore Anton’s children and I really hope we get to see them find love too.

This entire audible made me smile! I love these types of pairings. Keryth is a funny Fae with quirky thoughts about his vampire. These made me laugh constantly. Keryth doust protest too much about this Vamp! Anton is the Vamp in question here. He is a very powerful vampire with a soft spot he finally admits to having for Keryth. These two had some things to overcome but it was still enjoyable with all the connected friends and family involved! So many side characters with potential for stories too. Great overarching theme and world building developing. As always, I loved the character depth and fantasy aspect Zachary Zaba was able to bring out in the narration.

Audio. Second in series (Brinnswick: Tales from Gauhala), best if read in order. Paranormal urban fantasy. Second chance. Hurt/comfort. Soulmates. Found family. Slow burn. Dual POV.

A misunderstanding between nature fae Keryth and ancient vampire Anton keeps them apart for two years after a scorching first meeting. As danger surrounds them they agree to slowly build a relationship based on their viramore connection, readily combining their families to create a large loving household.

These two finally clearing the air and committing to the protection and caring of their family members was such a great read. Notaro’s characters always have such a depth of love and acceptance and ability to demonstrate that love it always makes for a beautiful read. I really enjoyed Anton and Keryth together as they both have strong abilities and senses of good, and would have liked to see more of their individual personalities beyond caretakers as they fell in love. This series is full of cameos and true found families, loyalty, and love. The narration was good and brought forth the emotions of the writing. 4.5 rounded up

I really enjoyed Ker and Anton's story. Ker is super upset with Anton and doesn't even want to be in the same room as him. Anton is pining away as he's smitten with Ker. I thought the relationship between these two developed quite naturally and I loved how they combined their large family. There's a lot of other moving pieces so the plot doesn't feel stagnant. Jed and Anton's other children were awesome side characters, and I hope we haven't seen the last of this bunch. The heat level is quite low and this take a while, even for a slow burn. Zachary Zaba does a great job of brining all the characters to life!

Great vampire/fae story!
