first, let me just say I enjoyed the Oz principle. I think the authors present a good methodology for inspiring leadership and accountability. this book is like the CliffsNotes version. while this would be worthwhile for someone with not a lot of time to read or to give to an employee, a leader would be better served going back to the original Oz principle.the Oz principle takes more time to develop the thoughts provide more background or what leaders need to understand before they just see it own it solve it and do it.

another thing I didn't like about this audio book is that parts of it are read by the author or authors. The reason I like to listen to audiobooks is because the narrator's generally have the right tone and measurement to read the stories in an engaging way. I was distracted in this book by the author's voice. what probably caught me off-guard is I listen to a lot of audiobooks and the male voice is generally have the same quality and characteristics. hearing the author's voice was markedly different than the usual audiobook and I found myself distracted from the message.

bottom line, if you only can read one book then read this book. but if you have more time, go back to the original Oz principle.

it would be better to just read the Oz principle

This is a wonderful listen for those who want get personal accountability, and get "above the line". The Oz Priciples are straight forward and easy to remember, and the authors make this book relatable to everyday people. I highly recommend this book!

Did not find this book very relatable. And no, I didn’t sit here thinking about all the other people in my life who need to read this. Maybe it’s just the way I was raised, but I wish I had those 2 1/2 hours of my life back, and my money.

To summarize: you’re in charge of your life and only you can do something about it. Duh.
