Sir Storm's heart was broken. Now the sexy vampire hunter wants nothing to do with love, or even women for that matter. But a beautiful witch who works for Black Swan as a tracker has other ideas about that.

When B Team arrives in Edinburgh, the afterglow of a romantic elf-tale wedding ends abruptly when Sir Kay's fiance, Katrina, is kidnapped by a demon with a grudge. While Litha is assigned to search for the missing girl with Storm as her escort, other members of B Team are tasked with bringing in a stray werewolf who's been causing havoc in London.

Contains mature themes.

As a couple, I didn’t like Storm and Litha all that much. As the story pointed out multiple times, Storm was acting a fool for most of the story only to do an about face in the end and get the girl, whom he really didn't even have to work for as Litha was a total simp for him from day 1. Not that I'm knocking on Litha, she's a badass with unfortunately bad taste in men. Anyways, I mostly just appreciated the futhering romance of book 1s couple. As Istvan Baka already noticed, their antics (especially Elora's) is comedic gold and inspiration-worthy to the ex-vampire romance author. Anyways, the plot of the story itself was pretty good and I, like Litha, couldn't help but grow to love our main (reluctant) villian of the story, Del. Going on the next story then...

More Ram and Elora... yay!

Review of “My Familiar Stranger” that is applicable here:
“I love Victoria Danann’s Knights of the Black Swan.
I was so caught up in the book, I purchased it so I could continue the story on my drive to and from work. Mr. Furlong does a great job with the dialogue and dialects... Also, his reading of the story is somewhat ‘Shatner-esque.’ Oddly...placed.....pauses and inFLECtions...that make the narrative...pace uneven and...someWHAT annoying.”

I purchased the second in the series on Audible because I was going on a car trip and wanted to continue the story. I won’t look for the third on Audible.

This is one of my favorite books by Victoria Danann. The narration is so strong. Love Rammel Hawking's voice. We are introduced to a new beloved characters. Deliverance. Goodness but he has a sexy voice. This is my 5th reading of this book. 1st time listening. I am positive that I will listen to this book many times. From a Forever Fan... Pam James.

Wonderfully romantic story. Not a lot of drama and angst as the first, but still a very romantic HEA.
