What began as an innocuous advice column for Celeste Cleary has transformed into an all-consuming obsession, and her former existence as a scientist now feels like a distant memory.

As she immerses herself in the troubles of others-at times solving their dilemmas with messages from beyond the grave-an ability that has invaded her life since the hit-and-run accident that nearly killed her months before, Celeste grapples with the news that the accident may have been attempted murder.

One afternoon, a disturbing letter arrives at her advice column.A young woman haunted by the ghostly absence of her birth mother begs for help in tracing her mysterious past. Celeste steps into the labyrinth of secrets, unaware that she is traveling down a treacherous road that might lead her into the clutches of a remorseless killer.

I am obsessed with this series and knowing where Celeste's column is going to take us next! The suspense as this mystery unfolded was so good, and I loved the unpredictable ending. Terrific audio narration made each character stand out in this series!

After reading, Come Home Katie the first of this series I couldn't wait for a follow up. Holy haaaannnna, as always not disappointed! I've read all of the books by Erickson and can't wait for the next. The narrator does an amazing job, and complements the writing so well. The story in itself grips you and it's almost impossible to put the book down! Needless to say I finished this one in only one weekend.

Hooked from Page One!

This one was better than the first, and the first was a great read. Lots of suspense and plot twists

Loved it!

The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because of the last hour of the book. With a killer on the loose, Owen has no problem with River wanting to take a drive all by herself. Knowing Tex is out there, she goes home and walks around the property. Really?

After listening to Come Home, Katie I was eager for what would come next in the Dear Celeste series. The Worst Kind did not disappoint! It was gripping from the beginning and the narrator complemented the story so well. I always listen to audiobooks when I’m in the car, but I listened to The Worst Kind every moment I could, finishing the day after I began. Waiting anxiously for Dread The Night, but not sure I’ll be able to hold out for the audiobook.

Couldn’t stop listening!
