Great Superhero Story

I really enjoyed this origin story of a great character. This was a super fun Punisher/Batman style tale and I am really stoked to read the next one.

Great female Super hero. I Loved the storyline and set in New Orleans. Will continue the collection.

Too Exciting!

I am not happy with this book series. I own all five. And I have a membership to audible. Because I keep listening to this series over and over I don’t get to listen to the other books that I purchased, or the free books that is available in my membership, etc. Also, in some of the series it mentions events that happen in the Arsenal book series. If you haven’t read the Arsenal series how are you supposed to know what happened?!?!

A fresh spin on the classic superhero story!

This was a fun and engaging story from the beginning. There is just enough downtime between the action to give you a chance to catch your breath, but never enough to let you get bored. The pacing is spot on and the story keeps you hooked.
The narrator did a fantastic job as well. I felt like I was listening to the real protagonist, and the secondary characters were so well done that there was never a concern they would get lost in the crowd. Everyone was unique and fully recognizable.
I'm looking forward to continuing in this series. If you want a fast paced action story that leaves you both satisfied and wanting more, don't hesitate to pick this one up. It's a fun ride from start to finish.
