One second can change everything.

I met him on the worst day of my life—the desperate boy with a gun and the most brilliant smile I’d ever seen. We saved each other’s lives and then walked away, because a hitchhiking criminal and one of the richest men in the world can’t possibly be made for each other.

I’m a void, silenced by my power-hungry family and pushed into an arranged marriage like the obedient pawn I am. I’ve given up hoping for anything more.

He’s an uncontrolled explosion, a lost man with a shattered moral compass who would do anything for redemption. He refuses to give up hope, even if it breaks him.

So when I come up with a wild, impossible revenge plan, there’s only one person I look for. One person unhinged enough to say yes when I ask him to marry me and ruin my family’s business deal. He can teach a good boy how to do bad things. He already owns me, body and soul.

The problem is, we’re both too broken to know when to stop. Our hearts are angry and possessive and foolish. Now that we’re in too deep, I realize we only have one chance to build the kind of love that rewrites the damage they passed down to us.

A dark contemporary M/M romance featuring bratty soulmates, an unhinged grumpy/sunshine couple looking for revenge, found family, and breaking cycles of generational trauma.

Incredible writing, angsty characters, mental health rep, broken bbs, and high heat are all things I have come to expect from this author. This book did not disappoint! The scream I scrumpt when I was able to devour another Riley Nash could be heard within a five mile radius, I am sure! I adored getting to know these two MCs, and was made to feel so many feels through the entire story! Anger, frustration, curiosity, heart ache, and so much love! Definitely give this one a shot!

Riley Nash is so fricking good at writing characters that year you heart out. Jude and Andrew are just the next in his collection of beautiful sad boys. I absolutely love this story and how much safety and comfort they find in each other. The narration was fantastic!

The title was accurate. This had some serious pain in it. I felt so strongly fornthese two. Both were so beyond broken, and though the relationship seemed toxic in some points, it really worked. Riley Nash is an amazing author who lets you truly feel what these characters are feeling. This was beautiful. The audio was so perfect. I already loved this book but this deepens the love for it even more. These narrators are amazing.

So beautiful.

This was a pretty great storyline along with excellent narration. So many stories are similar and repetitive but this one had some very interesting twists and turns.

Captivating Read

I loved that there were separate actors for separate characters. And they were well chosen. The story was complex…overly complex? I’m still not sure. I’ll have to read another and get back to you later

This was…practically literary. Unexpected in this genre
