Awesome!

Loved the characters. I wished we had more time in their world, but every story has an ending. The MCs have a loving but also hot connection. Nice to see love, especially Black love on display.

This was so good

I got all the feels from this story. From the love, to the culture to the pain felt in certain moments. This was a great story!!!

One of my favorite books of the year

I felt the love on the pages, Aliza finally being seen and accepted for who she is, Kofi seeing a different future for himself due to meeting Aliza. I felt like I got a tour of Accra and like I was there with them.
The audiobook added to the overall story, I felt like I WAS reading it for the first time even though I had already read the story. The narrator did such a good job and brought the story to life.

A Pleasant Surprise

Let me first say, this is my first experience by the author L. B. Gaines, but definitely not the last. Had me searching for ACCRA! This was such a feel good and classic love story. I enjoyed every minute. And Kofi..definitely what book husbands are made of. I felt like I too was experiencing ACCRA and Ghana. A nice and welcomed break! I look forward to exploring some other books by the author.

Such a beautiful love story that was narrated so well!! The narrator did an amazing job capturing the emotion and made wish we had longer than 3 hours with these two characters. A must listen for sure!
