Second, I have to try and find a way to live with the fact that three of my four mates unwittingly betrayed me.

Then there's the king, who's looking me over with a speculative eye and not just as his wife's challenger.

Most of all, there are the damn Reavers that are slowly gnawing at the edges of Strelae: killing people, burning fields, all while the capital keeps going about its business as if there's no threat looming on the horizon. Somehow, some way, the five of us have to get the king and the people to admit there's a problem. If we leave our response too late, we may not even get a chance to fight back.

I dream over and over of a pack of wolves running across the earth, swallowing, tearing, and chewing everything in their path, and I'm terrified that all of us will be next.

I love this book

the book is amazing , the narrator is wonderful. Great story with spicy momments I can't be mad

Worth the read

Great plot and character development. A bit too much internal dialogue with the FMC. A bit rushed in some areas and too long in others but I enjoyed the story. The performer did a great job distinguishing the different characters.

Beautifully written

What a book! So well written. You can clearly see the world in which the story takes place. A bit cruel at times, but not gratuitous. Just real. I can’t wait to see how it all ends in the next book.
The narration is excellent. I don’t think the book could have been as good had someone else narrated the story!

Ready, set, go...............!

Did you think it wouldn't get any better. My first read by author, Sam Hall. Most of this genre I have read has been penned by female authors but I have never read a book with the sex scenes written so well. They reach out and pull you in by the balls or v-jj, which ever apply. As well the words and emotions by the lovers are expressed beautifully.
If it's the action you are looking for; we'll look no further as this book is loaded with action. Plenty of war cries, sacrifice, and blood can be found in its pages. A sure hit!

Show burn but with the wait!

I love the connection between each character and watching the relationships grow or fall apart. Written well and performance was good! I feel like this might be a little too slow in a few parts but overall worth it! Cliff hangers galore though lol
