As always Tim Keller is a force in spreading the Gospel both when he was living and even in his passing. What an inspiration, especially in the fact that Keller was always learning and always discovering therefore always growing in his faith. I was particularly moved when the author stated that Keller revealed later in life that he wished he would have prayed more and that he didnt feel like he had done a good job in teaching his congregation to pray. What a revelation and an insight to Keller's humility.

The perspective of the author while an admirer of Keller he did not hesitate to say he had differing opinions on some subjects.

Smethurest has synthesized Keller’s deepest insights on Christian living into a very readable, short book. The Gospel comes through on every page, as Keller would want. I pray many will be discipled through these pages as I have been by Keller in his writings and preaching over the years.

Such a great and concise review of Tim Keller’s teachings over several decades. Such an amazing legacy he has left behind, and just like all of Tim’s teachings, this book is not really about him, but all about Jesus.

Miss you Tim

I have always appreciated Tim Keller’s sermons and books and this book reminded me why. Matt does a formidable job of synthesizing Keller’s work into several topics including but not limited to sin, friends, prayer, justice, work and suffering. The end notes are a vast trove of information that I have only just begun to explore. I was challenged, convicted, and encouraged to address these areas in my life with my eyes on Jesus and my heart’s desire to see the transforming power of the gospel changing me on a daily basis to look more like Him

Great book on Tim Keller’s ideas about life
